Requests From Authorities

Effective Date: 03/17/2026

Purpose

Ikisoda works to comply with lawful requests from competent authorities while respecting the privacy and rights of its users.

This policy describes the process for law enforcement agencies and government authorities seeking information or other assistance relating to the platform.

Privacy and Disclosure

We do not routinely or voluntarily disclose user information to government authorities or law enforcement agencies.

Information may be disclosed where applicable law requires or permits us to do so, including where we receive valid legal process such as a court order, warrant, or other legally binding order.

An exception may also apply when disclosure is necessary to address an emergency involving an imminent threat to life or serious physical injury.

Where legally permitted, Ikisoda may inform the affected user before information is disclosed.

Our retention practices also affect the information we can provide. We retain information for legitimate business, legal, operational, and security purposes only for as long as reasonably necessary. Information that has already been deleted or is no longer retained may therefore be unavailable when an official request arrives.

What an Official Request Should Contain

Authorities seeking information should submit their requests to admin@ikisoda.com.

The requests should be sufficiently detailed to allow us to identify the authority involved, understand the legal basis for the request, and determine precisely what is being sought.

Where applicable, they should include:

  1. The name of the requesting agency or authority;
  2. The requesting officer's or representative's name and contact information;
  3. The statutory or other legal basis for the request;
  4. A detailed description of the requested information or content;
  5. Relevant usernames, URLs, account identifiers, or other identifying details;
  6. A copy of any warrant, court order, or other binding legal document; and
  7. Any response deadline imposed by law or the relevant authority.

Requests lacking sufficient information may be returned for clarification or additional documentation.

Our Review of Official Requests

Before responding, Ikisoda may assess whether a request is properly authorized and legally valid.

This review may include verifying the identity and authority of the requesting party, examining the legal basis cited, and determining whether the requested information is sufficiently specific and within the scope of the applicable legal authority.

Where permitted, we may request clarification or additional documents.

We may challenge or decline requests that are unlawful, excessively broad, inadequately supported, or otherwise inconsistent with applicable legal requirements.

Urgent Requests

Authorities may contact us about emergencies involving an imminent threat of death or serious physical harm.

Such requests should clearly explain the emergency, identify the immediate threat, and provide sufficient information for us to understand why urgent consideration is necessary.

The subject line should clearly state Emergency Request.

Emergency matters are prioritized for review. Priority handling does not remove the requirement to assess the request under applicable law, though.

International Authorities

Authorities located outside the jurisdiction in which Ikisoda operates may need to obtain additional legal authorization before their requests can be fulfilled.

The existence of a request from a foreign authority does not, by itself, establish that the requested information can legally be disclosed.

Authenticity and Authority

We may verify the identity of an officer, agency, regulator, or government representative before processing a request.

Where the source of a request cannot be authenticated, or where the requesting party cannot demonstrate appropriate authority, we may decline to process it.

Updates to This Policy

Legal requirements and our procedures may change over time. Ikisoda may update this policy to reflect developments in legislation, regulation, industry standards, or internal processes.

The current version will be published on this page and identified by its latest update date.
