User Complaints & Review Process Policy
Effective Date: 03/17/2026
About the Process
Ikisoda provides users with channels to raise concerns about how the platform operates and to request reconsideration of certain moderation decisions.
We seek to handle these matters consistently and fairly, taking into account our platform rules, applicable law, and the circumstances of each individual case.
Submitting a complaint or appeal in good faith under this policy will not, by itself, result in retaliation or other adverse action against the person making the submission.
When You Can Make a Complaint
A complaint may be appropriate if you believe something has gone wrong in the way Ikisoda handled a matter.
For example, you can contact us if you believe:
- Our stated policies were not followed;
- A legal or regulatory obligation was not properly addressed;
- A report, request, or other concern was handled incorrectly;
- A moderation decision appears inconsistent with our rules; or
- A matter you previously raised has not received an adequate response.
Complaints should be submitted to admin@ikisoda.com.
To allow us to identify the issue, please include your username or name where relevant, an explanation of the complaint, links or account details connected with the matter, and any supporting information you believe we should consider.
We may request further details where the information initially supplied is insufficient to conduct a meaningful review.
Appeals Concerning Content or Accounts
Users can request reconsideration of certain actions taken against their accounts or content.
This may include:
- Content being removed;
- An account being restricted;
- A suspension;
- Account termination; or
- Another moderation measure that affects the user's ability to use Ikisoda.
An appeal should identify the decision being challenged and explain why the user believes it should be reconsidered. Additional information or evidence should be provided where it may assist the review.
There may be circumstances in which an appeal cannot be offered. For example, content or accounts may have been removed or restricted because applicable law requires us to take that action, including where the material is illegal or otherwise prohibited.
What We Consider
The team handling a complaint or appeal will review the information relevant to the matter.
Depending on the circumstances, this can include:
- The content involved;
- Account history and activity;
- Previous moderation records;
- Information supplied with the complaint or appeal; and
- Other information available to Ikisoda that is relevant to the decision.
We may contact the user if further information is needed.
After considering the available information, we may leave the original decision in place, make changes to it, or reverse it.
Outcomes and Further Review
Once a matter has been reviewed, Ikisoda will communicate the outcome where appropriate.
The outcome may confirm that the initial decision was correct, explain that the decision has been modified, or indicate that it has been reversed.
Not every matter can be escalated indefinitely. Certain decisions may be final following review, particularly where they concern legal requirements, safety issues, or repeated breaches of platform rules.
How Long Does a Review Take?
We aim to process complaints and appeals within a reasonable timeframe, but the exact period will depend on the circumstances.
Straightforward matters may require less time than cases involving extensive account history, multiple pieces of evidence, complex policy questions, or additional investigation.
Changes to This Policy
Our complaints and appeals procedures may be revised when necessary to reflect new laws, regulatory expectations, industry practices, or changes to our internal processes.
Any revised version will be published on this page, with the applicable update date.
