Illegal Content Reporting Policy
Effective Date: 03/17/2026
About This Policy
Ikisoda does not allow the platform to be used for illegal content or unlawful activity. We provide reporting channels so that users, public authorities, and other parties can alert us when they believe material on the service may violate the law.
This policy explains the types of concerns that can be reported, the information that helps us assess them, and the steps we may take after receiving a report.
Content That May Be Reported
The term illegal content covers material that is prohibited by applicable law. Depending on the jurisdiction and circumstances, this can include:
Child exploitation: Content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of children, including child sexual abuse material.
Non-consensual sexual material: Intimate or sexual images or recordings distributed without the consent of the person depicted.
Exploitation and abuse: Material involving coercion, exploitation, or abusive conduct.
Unlawful activity: Content that depicts, promotes, facilitates, or otherwise involves illegal acts or activities.
Other legal violations: Material that breaches an applicable legal requirement or an enforceable order or request from a competent authority.
The categories above are examples rather than an exhaustive definition of everything that could potentially be unlawful.
How to Contact Us
If you encounter material that you believe may be illegal, please report it as soon as reasonably possible.
Users can submit a report through the Content Removal Request form or contact our abuse team at admin@ikisoda.com.
Requests from law enforcement agencies, regulators, or other authorized bodies concerning legal or regulatory matters should be submitted through the contact process described in our Law Enforcement Requests information.
Information to Include
A useful report should identify the material and explain the concern. Where possible, provide:
- A direct link to the content;
- The relevant account or username;
- Supporting evidence, such as screenshots, where appropriate; and
- Contact details if you want us to communicate with you about the report.
A report does not need to establish conclusively that a law has been broken. However, clear and relevant information can make the review process more effective.
What Happens After a Report
Reports are assessed by the appropriate moderation or safety personnel. The response depends on the circumstances and seriousness of the allegation.
Our assessment may include examining the reported material, reviewing relevant information connected with the account, checking previous moderation activity, or asking the reporting party for clarification or additional evidence.
We may also temporarily restrict access to reported material where doing so is appropriate while an investigation takes place.
Reports concerning suspected child sexual exploitation, immediate threats to life or safety, or other serious forms of illegal activity may receive expedited attention.
Possible Outcomes
After considering the available information, Ikisoda may determine that no action is required or may take steps to address a confirmed violation.
Possible measures include:
- Taking content offline;
- Restricting visibility or access to material;
- Blocking access where required under applicable law;
- Suspending the account that uploaded or distributed the material;
- Terminating an account; or
- Taking another measure appropriate to the circumstances.
Where there is a legal basis to do so, information concerning suspected unlawful conduct may also be referred to the relevant authorities.
Child Sexual Exploitation
The protection of children is a particularly serious priority for Ikisoda. We do not permit child sexual exploitation or child sexual abuse material on the platform.
Reports raising concerns about possible CSAM or other child sexual exploitation are escalated for priority review. Confirmed violations may lead to immediate removal, account action, and referral to appropriate authorities where required or legally permitted.
Further information is available in our Policy on Child Safety and the Prevention of Exploitation.
Misuse of the Reporting Process
The reporting system is intended for genuine concerns. Users must not deliberately submit fabricated, deceptive, or malicious reports against other users or content
Such conduct may lead to restrictions or other enforcement action.
We do, however, recognize that reports will sometimes be made about material that ultimately does not violate our policies or applicable law. A report submitted honestly and in good faith will not, by itself, result in action against the person who submitted it merely because no violation is found.
Changes to This Policy
We may revise this policy periodically to account for developments in legislation, regulatory requirements, industry practices, or our own moderation and compliance procedures.
Changes will be reflected in the version published on this page, and the effective date will be updated accordingly.
